Customer Survey Prize Draw T&Cs

The survey and details of the prize draw have been sent to you via email.

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern the free prize draw (the "Prize Draw") run by Vattenfall Heat UK Limited in connection with its bi-annual customer feedback survey (the "Survey"). By entering the Prize Draw you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. PROMOTER

1. The promoter is Vattenfall Heat UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 02951085, whose registered office is at 5th Floor, 70 St Mary Axe, London, United Kingdom, EC3A 8BE (the "Promoter", "we", "us" or "our").

1. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Microsoft Corporation or any voucher issuer.

1. The Prize Draw is open to individual residential (B2C) heat-supply customers of the Promoter in London (England) and Scotland who are aged 18 or over at the date of entry.

1. The following persons may not enter: employees, officers and agents of the Promoter or of any company in its group, and the immediate families and households of such persons, and any other person professionally connected with the administration of the Prize Draw.

1. Entry is limited to one entry per customer. Entries made on behalf of another person, or in bulk, will not be accepted.

1. We may require an entrant to provide proof of eligibility (including age, residence and customer status) before awarding the Prize. We may refuse or disqualify any entry where we reasonably believe an entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements or has breached these Terms.

1. The Prize Draw opens at 12pm on 14th October 2026 and closes at 12pm on 30th October 2026 (the "Closing Date").

1. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw.

1. The Prize Draw is free to enter. No purchase is necessary and no payment of any kind is required to enter or to win.

1. To enter, an eligible customer must, before the Closing Date:

• complete the Survey via the Microsoft Forms link provided in the Promoter's email; and

• provide their name and contact details in the section of the Survey designated for Prize Draw entry.

1. Contact details provided are used solely to enter customers into the Prize Draw, to contact the winner and to deliver the Prize. Entry into the Prize Draw does not enrol any entrant into any marketing programme.

1. We accept no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, misdirected, corrupted or not received for any reason. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.

1. There is one (1) prize available: a Vattenfall kids pack together with a gift voucher to the value of up to £50.00 (the "Prize").

1. The Prize is as stated and is not transferable. There is no cash alternative to the Prize in whole or in part.

1. If the Prize (or any part of it) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

1. Each valid entry will be allocated a sequential entry number in the order received.

1. After the Closing Date, one winning number will be selected at random using a random number generator that produces verifiably random results. The entry matching the selected number will be the winner.

1. We will retain a record of the draw, including the number generated, the date and time of the draw and the matching entry, so that the selection can be evidenced if required.

1. The winner will be notified using the contact details provided with their entry within 14 days of the draw.

1. The winner must confirm acceptance and provide any information reasonably required to deliver the Prize within 14 days of the date of the notification.

1. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the period stated in clause 7.2, is found to be ineligible, or has not complied with these Terms, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner at random in accordance with clause 6.

1. The Prize will normally be delivered within 30 days of the winner confirming acceptance and providing the required information.

1. The surname and initial of the winner and their region will be available on request by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the Promoter at the address in clause 1.1 within one month after the Closing Date.

1. We will only publish the minimum information necessary (initial and surname, and region) and will obtain the winner's consent before using any further detail in publicity.

1. The Promoter is the data controller in respect of personal data collected for the Prize Draw. We will process entrants' personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and our privacy notice, available at Privacy Policy - Vattenfall.

1. We will use the personal data provided on entry solely to administer the Prize Draw, to contact the winner and to deliver the Prize. We will not use these details for marketing unless the entrant has given separate, specific consent.

1. We will retain entrants' personal data only for as long as necessary to run the Prize Draw and award the Prize, and will then delete it, save for a minimal record of the winner and the draw required for audit or to deal with any query or dispute.

1. Entrants have rights in respect of their personal data, including rights of access, rectification and erasure. For further information, or to exercise these rights, contact data.protection.uk@vattenfall.com

1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

1. Subject to clause 10.1, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Prize Draw or the Prize, except where such loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable and arises as a result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence.

1. We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under the Prize Draw where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control.

1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms, or to cancel, suspend or amend the Prize Draw, where it becomes necessary to do so for reasons beyond our reasonable control, or where fraud, abuse or an event beyond our reasonable control affects, or threatens to affect, the proper administration or security of the Prize Draw.

1. Our decision on all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

1. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Prize Draw, are governed by the law of England and Wales.

1. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim. Nothing in this clause deprives an entrant who is resident in Scotland of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland, or affects any statutory rights the entrant may have as a consumer.
