Supply outage - Bristol heat network: Metalworks development, Bedminster

20th January 2025

We can confirm that the service issues affecting the heating and hot water supplies at the Metalworks development in Bedminster have been resolved.

The temperature across our network has now been restored, meaning your heating and hot water should be back to the usual standard of service by 19.00hrs.

We understand that this interruption has caused you inconvenience, and we are very sorry for the disruption. Although the issue has been fixed, we’ll continue to review what’s happened so that we can learn from it and improve our service in the future.

Update - Bristol heat network: Old Market

20th January 2025

Over the last two weeks, our local operations team has been working to secure a single location to locate temporary heating to provide continued heating and hot water to nine buildings in Old Market, where we have a supply issue on the heat network. We are expecting that over the next two weeks we will consolidate temporary heating into a single location.

Once temporary heating is consolidated into a single location, we will remove other equipment and commence repair works. This will entail some groundwork over the next six weeks. We will provide an update on this page when we can provide a more defined time period.

We are very sorry to our customers and the wider community for the interruption in service and disruption this has caused. Our colleagues are working hard so we can remove the temporary measures as soon as we can.
